How this check works
Which answer engine does it query?
An AI answer engine with live web search, prompted to answer exactly as a consumer assistant would. ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews each use their own retrieval, so treat this as a directional read on how answer engines see your business, not a mirror of any single product.
How is the score calculated?
20 points for every prompt where your business is named in the answer. 5 prompts, 0–100. That is the whole formula. If the API call fails or returns something we cannot parse, the page shows an error and no score.
Why do you ask for a work email?
We email you the written version of the result and follow up once with what we would do first. You can reply STOP or ignore it. No call is ever required.
